Retired Army Captain Florent Groberg received the Medal of Honor in 2015 for extraordinary gallantry, intrepidity, and heroism while serving in combat operations in Afghanistan. Groberg currently serves as a commissioner to the American Battle Monuments Commission. His full Medal of Honor citation can be found here.
